WAP Proof is an emulator of a WAP browser for Microsoft Windows, a universal WML, HTML and XHTML browser intended for designers of mobile content. It is designed for the preview and debugging of mobile websites. The purpose of WAP Proof is to emulate the rendering of WML 1.3, HTML, XHTML Mobile Profile 1.0 and cHTML documents by different devices. The mobile-oriented content is rendered exactly as if it was downloaded on the real cell phone. The device can be changed by a few mouse clicks, so the user of WAP Proof should not load the same WAP page to a number of phones. Several skins (Alcatel, Motorola, Nokia, Sagem, Samsung, Siemens, SonyEricsson) are supported. Besides the rendered contents, the source code of the document, the WML context and raw HTTP traffic may be viewed. WAP Proof works over HTTP like a usual HTML browser. Multiple document encodings are supported.

WAP Proof can be used to validate the syntax of WML or XHTML documents, debug the interactive WAP pages, and check the HTTP traffic between the browser and the server. The error diagnostics is descriptive and all the debugging information is accessible. To avoid rendering of large computer-oriented web pages, WAP Proof will warn you if the web page is too large and is not intended to be opened by a WAP browser.
